Curious Claire is one of our MCC ambassadors. She is 43, has Mosaic Down syndrome and loves interviewing all sorts of people with candour and humour!

She is a self advocate at International Mosaic Down Syndrome Association, studied BA Hons Media Degree at University of Bolton, lives and travels independently and loves cooking and dancing.

🎬 Bethany Asher, incredible actress who happens to have Down syndrome, speaks exclusively to Claire May, our very own MCC reporter who herself has Mosaic Down syndrome and a self advocate for the ‘International Mosiac Down Syndrome Association’.

Bethany has starred in Dumping Ground, Doctors and the film Innocence, she hopes to get a spot on BBC EastEnders or Hollyoaks one day and soon to be appearing in a new film with Vicky McClure.

Our reporter, Claire May Minett, has been busy during lockdown catching up with lots of people from within the Down Syndrome community and beyond.

Following on from her most recent popular exclusive interview with Liam Bairstowe, Claire has spoken to actor and DS advocate, Sally Phillips and her son, Ollie.

Here they talk all things lockdown, Chelsea football club, future ambitions, 100th birthdays and homeschooling.

As Ollie explains about Mum, Sally, “It’s going tough... my Mum is not a teacher... She’s my Mum...”
